Tucked away in the mountains behind the Gold Coast on the western escarpment of Tamborine Mountain, Witches Falls Cottages provide delightfully different accommodation for couples. Tamborine is a plateau of lush green rural countryside dotted with avocado orchards and rainforest, nine national parks, a coffee plantation, a boutique distillery and several wineries, two of which are just a short walk down the road.

The cottages are nestled among flowering scented gardens and tall rose gums bordering Witches Falls National Park. A stroll along the Tamborine escarpment takes you to the Lions Lookout to enjoy drop-off views and sunsets. Each cottage has a stone gable, bullnose veranda, polished timber floors, cosy fireplaces and a double spa. Breakfast is delivered to your verandah and dinner is served in the surprisingly different Ozen Dining Room.

In the Ozen Dining Room fresh local ingredients and Asian vegetables many from our own kitchen gardens are used to create a myriad of dishes presented in what could be best described as Japanese Fusion Cuisine. During dinner you will enjoy many different dishes such as tempura, teriyaki sushi, marinated and wok tossed creations where the emphasis is on flavour and presentation. Japanese style low tables, personal service and a circular `Spinner Fireplace', makes this hideaway dining room in the mountains unique. Tamborine Mountain is only 1 hour from Brisbane & 40 minutes from the Gold Coast. Airport pick up can be arranged for interstate `getaways'.

Tamborine Mountain is a table top mountain 550 meters above sea level and located just behind the Gold Coast. Witches Falls Cottages is located on the western escarpment right in the middle of Tamborine Mountain. From our place you can walk through the Witches Falls National Park picnic ground, and enjoy the hour rainforest circuit of Queensland’s Oldest NP, from which we draw our name. You can also walk to 3 wineries and 2 antique shops or Tamborine’s Main Street where the shops, restaurants & cafés are a meeting place for locals and tourists alike.
